Memorials Ministry

Memorial Funds provide an opportunity for friends and relatives to contribute to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in memory of their departed loved ones. Memorial gifts are spent for permanent church appointments of lasting quality to beautify the Church and enhance Worship, with the approval of our priest and vestry. Memorial gifts designated ‘The Book of Remembrance’ will have the names of the deceased inscribed in Holy Trinity’s Book of Remembrance. This book is on display in the cabinet on the right as you enter the church narthex.

The Memorials chairperson works with family members in choosing an appropriate memorial. Some examples of memorial gifts are sacramental vessels, altar linens and hangings, vestments, bibles, prayer books and hymnals, garden statuary and benches, stained glass windows, pictures and/or paintings, and the Stations of the Cross.

Memorial Gifts and those designated as ‘The Book of Remembrance’ are deposited into the Memorials Fund, a designated fund that can only be used for memorial expenses. These gifts are tax deductible and are used to the Glory of God.
